Alien and Predator Movies as Reactionary Propaganda
Alien Alien is a reaction against the anti-colonial independence movements from the 1950's, 60's, and 70's. Colonializers travel to planet. They are infected by a monster that had already infected a former colonial force. It is unstoppable. They must destroy it before it can make it back to the homeland. Creature is Black Filmed in 1979--at the end of the independence movement--Zimbawe was up to be independent in 1980. Predator Predator is a reaction against the left in Central and South America. Predator has dreads. Is not White. Is the ultimate hunter--indigenous people were and are the best hunters in the world. Operation Condor 1987
